Community Reception: Since I can't check forums or reviews, I can advise the user to look for community feedback. Check GTA5Mods or ModDB for user reviews and the developer's reputation. "NOVO" might be the mod author; checking their history can help assess credibility.

Next, the mod's name: "NOVO- Cali Shootout Script". It might be a scripted event in GTA V, possibly involving shooting in California. The "AU" could mean it's an updated version from Australia, but I'm not sure. Version 2025 seems odd; perhaps it's the year of release. I need to note that modders often use years for versioning, but 2025 is in the future, which might be a placeholder or a mistake.

First, I should check if this mod is legitimate. I recall some GTA V modders create custom scripts for scenarios. But I need to verify if this script is real or a scam. Maybe the user got a link from Pastebin to this script and wants a review of it. However, I can't access Pastebin now, so I have to base my review on common modding practices and security concerns.

Security aspects: Many mods require executing scripts via OpenIV, ScriptHookV, etc. Users should be cautious about downloading scripts from Pastebin, as malicious actors can inject harmful code. I should highlight the potential risks, like malware or keyloggers, even if the mod itself is legitimate.

  • The print is too small. You need to add a feature to enlarge the page and print so that it is readable.

  • As a long time comixology user I am going to be purchasing only physical copies from now on. I have an older iPad that still works perfectly fine but it isn’t compatible with the new app. It’s really frustrating that I have lost access to about 600 comics. I contacted support and they just said to use kindles online reader to access them which is not user friendly. The old comixology app was much better before Amazon took control

  • As Amazon now owns both Comixology and Goodreads, do you now if the integration of comics bought in Amazon home pages will appear in Goodreads, like the e-books you buy in Amazon can be imported in your Goodreads account.

  • My Comixology link was redirecting to a FAQ page that had a lot of information but not how to read comics on the web. Since that was the point of the bookmark it was pretty annoying. Going to the various Amazon sites didn’t help much. I found out about the Kindle Cloud Reader here, so thanks very much for that. This was a big fail for Amazon. Minimum viable product is useful for first releases but I don’t consider what is going on here as a first release. When you give someone something new and then make it better over the next few releases that’s great. What Amazon did is replace something people liked with something much worse. They could have left Comixology the way it was until the new version was at least close to as good. The pushback is very understandable.

  • I have purchased a lot from ComiXology over the years and while this is frustrating, I am hopeful it will get better (especially in sorting my large library)
Thankfully, it seems that comics no longer available for purchase transferred over with my history—older Dark Horse licenses for Alien, Conan, and Star Wars franchises now owned by Marvel/Disney are still available in my history. Also seem to have all IDW stuff (including Ghostbusters).
I am an iOS user and previously purchased new (and classic) issues through ComiXology.com. Am now being directed to Amazon and can see “collections” available but having trouble finding/purchasing individual issues—even though it balloons my library I prefer to purchase, say, Incredible Hulk #181 in individual digital form than in a collection. Am hoping that I just need more time to learn Amazon system and not that only new issues are available.

  • Thank you for the thorough rundown. Because of your heads-up, I\\\\\\\’m downloading my backups right now. I share your hope that Amazon will eventually improve upon the Comixolgy experience in the not-too-long term.

  • Hi! Regarding Amazon eating ComiXology – does this mean no more special offers on comics now?
That’s been a really good way to get me in to comics I might not have tried – plus I have a wish list of Marvel waiting for the next BOGO day!
