The English patch for Nier Replicant was developed by a team at Square Enix, led by producer Yosuke Saito and translator Junichi Ohashi. In an interview with Game Informer, Saito revealed that the patching process was a complex and time-consuming task, requiring significant resources and manpower. The team had to translate over 150,000 words of dialogue, as well as re-localize the game's UI, menus, and subtitles.
